Lila's Room

This is a retelling of the Meet the Robinsons plot, but I changed both Goob's and Lewis's gender, and for this version the story takes place in 90’s Costa Rica.
The set dressing was made to reflect the cultural context of a 90’s Costa Rican orphanage, full with local catholic paraphernalia, state funded furniture, an invention made from scraps and a makeshift workbench.
Based on my preferred room layout I proceeded to sketch a cinematic shot, and when it was the time for color, I focused on enhancing the visual narrative of the shot by adding more elements that tie into these kids story before giving it the finishing touches.
